Timothy L. Williams

Tim Williams is an attorney and founder of Timothy L. Williams & Associates, P.C.  Tim’s practice is focused on assisting residents and entrepreneurs with business law, estate planning, and tax issues.

Tim has worked with prominent entrepreneurs in effectively forming business entities and is experienced in negotiating, drafting and reviewing all types of business agreements.  Tim shares the entrepreneurial passion of his clients, and is able to provide creative solutions with foresight into the myriad of factors affecting their businesses.

Tim has helped hundreds of individuals and families to effectively place their affairs in order, and makes extensive use of the living trust in his estate planning practice to privatize estates and trusts. 

As an active member within the community, Tim has served the Livingston County Sunrise Rotary Club, and is currently Club Secretary and a Board member.  In addition, Tim is a consistent supporter of and contributor to events for Special Olympics, the Red Cross, and the United Way. Tim is a member of the Oak Pointe Country Club, the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, the Howell Chamber of Commerce, the Hartland Chamber of Commerce, the Lyon Area Chamber of Commerce, the Livingston Trusted Business Directory, the Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce Web Group and Lyon Area Network Group.

Professional Licenses:
Mr. Williams is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Taxation and Labor Sections) and is admitted before the U.S. Tax Court, the Federal Courts in Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, and the Internal Revenue Service.
